As they say, there’s always a first for every­thing. This is my first blog post and I’m not pre­cisely sure what I’m meant to say as my fin­gers stum­ble across the key­board whilst my brain des­per­ately searches for an inter­est­ing sen­tence or two.

I sup­pose I ought to begin by say­ing that this is not tech­ni­cally my first blog, but see­ing as I already have a firm pur­pose for this blog (unlike my oth­ers) I’ll con­sider it my first attempt at blog­ging suc­cess­fully. With that in mind, I’m going to attempt to make a blog post each day, with the odd excep­tion. The blog will mainly fea­ture my thoughts, mum­blings and overly-promoted opin­ions on the most impor­tant sub­jects that define human exis­tence: pol­i­tics, his­tory, phi­los­o­phy and economics.

On the polit­i­cal scale, I’m Right of cen­tre — but I wouldn’t describe myself as a con­ser­v­a­tive. I’m really a sort of Right-wing lib­eral. To learn more about me, visit my About Me page.

Debate, opin­ions, sug­ges­tions and views are all wel­come in the com­ments sec­tion whether you’re a Leftie or Rightie and, in keep­ing with my lib­eral views, mod­er­a­tion and cen­sor­ship is very light (only spam or the most non-sensical of replies will recieve the axe).
